July 2010

Well our little guy is now 16 months old and loves to swim! We've had a lot going on - the 4th of July, a trip to St. Louis on our way to the family reunion, and the Nelson family reunion in Kentucky. So much going on, and it is HOT outside. Here are a few pics...

The Nelson family reunion is every 3 years. This year it was in Kentucky at a state park. We had a spacious cabin with a full kitchen and 2 full baths, pretty nice. Connor loved playing with Amelia and Landon and mimicked everything they did!

3 generations - Opa, Daddy and Connor. We had a nice trip but were very tired and hot, and ready to get home.

15 months old

Well our little Connor is growing like a weed! We had his 15 month check up today and he is doing great!
24 lbs 10.9 oz (52%)
32.1 inches (78%)
Connor had to get 2 shots today and SCREAMED! But then he was ok shortly after. I always feel bad for the sweet nurse who does his shots. She is only doing her job and trying to keep the kiddos from getting sick, but she is always the one who makes them cry. It makes me think of my little sister, so Connor and I always tell our nurse that he knows they are just trying to make sure he stays healthy!

And I spent my first weekend away from Connor, and it was tough but still fun. I spent the weekend in St. Louis helping Kara who just brought baby Jillian home. Max is almost 2 1/2, Jillian is 3 weeks old, and Harper (14 months old) comes home FRIDAY! SO exciting. So here is a pic of me and Jillian.

Time is flying by! Connor is 11 months old - guess it is time to start planning a party!

Aunt Erika, Oma and Opa were here last weekend for Chris' uncle's funeral. We got to spend some time with the family.
