Trip to remember my Gammy
We took a quick weekend trip to Florida for my grandmother's memorial service. It was sad but I am glad I went. A few pics...

Ringing in 2010
Things change when you have a baby! We had a calm new year's eve. Paul came in town for a visit. We went to the Castro's for a little over an hour. Fun to see everyone. Then we came home and relaxed, had a pizza, and did actually stay up to ring in the new year.
We also got more snow - BOOOO! It is so cold outside. So, we are making due being indoors. We finally set up Connor's playroom and he LOVES IT!
Hope everyone is off to a great start for 2010. Connor is loving noodles. And wearing daddy's hat. And trying to hold his own bottle.

The Holidays!
Well we have had our fare share of people under the weather or even just plain sick. Connor has another double ear infection, which came shortly after the stomach flu he endured. His Oma came to take care of him, but Connor gave his Oma the stomach flu.
So my mom, Nene, flew in Sunday night to help. Connor had an early Christmas with Nene.
And Nene taught Connor how to do the dishes
By Monday morning I had a sinus infection, so she was taking care of Connor and me. Chris worked really hard not to get it so he can take care of all of us.
Wheh!
But, we were all on the mend by Christmas Eve so we drove to Manhattan Kansas early Thursday morning to spend the holidays with the Nelson side of the family.
It was so fun to have time with Amelia and Landon who just love and adore Connor.
They are so sweet with him.
We had a great meal and fun times.
We spent Friday night at Oma and Opa's because all the Knopp's came down with the flu.
Just awful! But atleast they enjoyed Christmas first!
We came home on some slick roads and had a ton of snow at our house.

Getting ready for the holidays!
Well we are getting ready for the holidays. We have lights on the house, the tree is up, and we have started shopping. Connor is getting into it too!
Chris and I were introduced and started dating 7 years ago. My good friend Angela babysat last night so we could go out for a nice dinner. We headed to our favorite - J Gilberts WoodFire Steak house and it was awesome. And free - one of the managers I worked with at Rainforest Cafe runs this steak house and hooked us up! Big thanks Bill!!!! Then we met friends out later to watch the Texas Nebraska game. It was a great night out.
Now we are just looking forward to the first snow and then the holidays!!! Hope everyone is doing great and we hope to see folks soon.

Thanksgiving 2009
We have so much to be thankful for this year! Our family, great friends, new house, good jobs, and most importantly - our son Connor.
This year we celebrated two weeks early in St. Louis with mom, dad, Paul, Lisa, Jamie and Silas. Traditional meal - wonderful time. Then today we celebrated in Kansas City when mom, dad and Paul drove over to spend a couple days with us. We had an incredible meal and so many laughs. Connor has everyone in stiches with his little giggle.

November 2009
Well to get my pics to work I had to create a blog that worked with my pics site! Yish!
Connor and I just had an incredible trip to St. Louis to meet Silas! And to see Lisa, Jamie, Paul, mom and dad.
Baby Silas - 10 weeks old...
First time meeting Aunt Michelle - and look at that smile!
Nene and Popie loved having 2 of their grandson's there, but we all missed August! We need a pic with all 3 boys!
We had a great lil party for Silas and boy did they get some great gifts!
Connor always loves to see Uncle Paul!
We also went to the Saints/Rams game on Sunday - and the grandson's stayed with Nene and Popie. They had so much fun.
We are so excited to see our family grow! Next time we need to make sure Chris, Avi, Jenny and August can be there with us so we can get a whole family pic!
